“The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him,
Who shelters him all the day long;
And he shall dwell between His shoulders.”
~from Deuteronomy 33:12
There are times in life when it seems like everything is going just right–no trials, no hardships, everything is smoothe sailing. But then there are those other times when it feels like trials are pouring down on not only you, but on those friends and family that you love as well. This is one of the latter times for me, and it’s been devastating.
I thank the Lord that my family’s trial seems to be working itself out, praise be to His name, but there are other families I know who are still in the thick of things, their hearts broken, or still breaking daily. It’s humbling to know that trials of others, because I don’t quite know what to do with the knowledge, if anything, but pray and encourage myself and others not to dwell on the problems, but to dwell between the shoulders of the Lord Jesus, right near to His heart.
Lord, thank you that we have a place near to Your heart, and that You promise that You will never leave us or forsake us. Be the comforter for those in need, myself and my family included, and let Your healing balm wash over the hearts of your children. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

amen.
and amen.
And I’ll add a praise the Lord
