Dry Rub Recipe* (adapted from Recipezaar.com Dry Rub Recipe #246148):
Makes 1 cup
1/2 cup Splenda brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated garlic
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup paprika
2-1/4 Tbsp dried basil
2-1/4 Tbsp dried marjoram
1 Tbsp black pepper
1 Tbsp cayenne pepper (or more if you like it really spicy)
5 tsp Mexican oregano
Add all ingredients into a mason jar or sealable container and shake to mix. Use on chicken or beef, and vegetables.
*This recipe can be considered low carb if you do use the Splenda brown sugar.
