I love ice water in the summer. It gets so darn hot here, and being that we don’t have central air in our little home, we are relegated to relying on fans and ice water, with a little help from our two window a/c units. I’m glad for them, to be sure, but ice water sure makes life a bit cooler during our long, hot summers.
So you can probably imagine how happy I was to learn recently that if you have dehydrated citrus in your cupboard (I do—lots), you can use them to flavor your water. I had hoped to love it.
I did! I mean—what is more refreshing than citrus? I am a big fan of squeezing lemon into water, so this was right up my alley. And the fact that the citrus was dehydrated, the flavor is still so present even after the first glass as the fruit rehydrates in your water.

How do you use your dehydrated fruits and veggies?

Yessssss! Me too! I especially like dried strawberries as a snack, they are so good.
Great idea! I’ve got dehydrated oranges and apples but a lemon would be perfect!
Oranges and apples would work, but yes, if you love lemon like I do, it’s the best! Thanks for stopping by, Kathy! Nice to “meet” you!

Thanks Kim! And thanks for your comment and visit to my blog!
